The 30-day window
You have 30 days from delivery to return anything bought here, for any reason, provided it is unused and back in its original packaging. Christmas is a season with a deadline, so this window runs from the delivery date rather than the order date.
How to start a return
- Email support@globalswanky.com with your order number and what you are sending back.
- We reply with a return address and, where the item is faulty or wrongly sent, a prepaid label.
- Pack it in the original box. Send us the tracking number so we can watch for it.
Please do not send anything back before contacting us — unannounced returns cannot be matched to an order.
Who pays return postage
| Reason | Return postage | Refund |
|---|---|---|
| Faulty, damaged or not what you ordered | We pay, with a prepaid label | Full, including original shipping |
| Changed your mind, unused in packaging | You pay | Full price of the goods |
| Used, assembled or missing parts | You pay | Partial, based on condition — we tell you the amount before you send it |
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card or PayPal account used at checkout, normally within 5–10 business days of the return reaching us. We never ask for your card PIN or online banking password, by phone or by email.
Cancelling before dispatch
Email us within two hours of ordering and, if the parcel has not shipped, we cancel it and refund in full the same day. After dispatch it becomes a return, and the table above applies.
Faulty goods
If a light set fails or a tree arrives with a broken section, tell us within 30 days and we replace it at our cost. Bulbs and fuses supplied as spares in the box are not counted as faults. This sits alongside your statutory rights under US consumer law, which nothing on this page reduces.
After the season
A product bought in November and found faulty when it comes out of the loft the following November is outside the 30-day window, but still covered by the manufacturer warranty where one applies. Email us and we will help you claim it — we would rather do that than have you throw it away.
